‘We Are So Moved and Humbled’

ABC’s newsman Gio Benitez said “I do” to his fiancé – hunky model Tommy DiDario in Miami on Saturday, 16th of April.

The couple was joined by 160 close friends and nearest and dearest who witnessed how the lovebirds exchanged their self-written vows before sunset near the historic Walton House, a gorgeous English cottage surrounded by tropical gardens.

My forever and always!

“It’s so special to see how excited our friends and family have been about this wedding,” admitted Benitez, 30. “It truly is a celebration of love – our own, and what love means in their own lives. We are so moved and humbled to celebrate together.”

The beginning of forever

DiDario, also 30, whose sister Megs officiated the wedding, added: “The support and love our family and friends have shown throughout this journey have made the entire experience that much more special.”

After sharing their first kiss being already husbands, grooms decided to start the wedding party with their first dance to Il Volo’s cover of Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from Disney’s The Lion King.

Benitez’s extended news family, including Sam Champion, Shepard Smith, Martha Raddatz and Kevin Ozebek, Benitez’s best man feted the couple of grooms.

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, publicist Howard Bragman and Broadway director and producer Richard Jay-Alexander came to greet this happy couple of hunks on this big day.

Some days before the wedding celebration, the couple had a pre-wedding getaway to Key Largo, Florida, joined by their family and close friends. And here is their pre-wedding photo shot:

Now, it’s honeymoon time.

Benitez made his proposal to DiDario during their visit to Paris right in front of the Eiffel Tower in September 2015. Their photo of such a romantic proposal became viral soon.

Benitez in one of his intervied acknowledged: “I used to be one of those guys who never really thought about marriage, and then I met Tommy.”

They look really happy. Good luck guys. Live long and let your love last forever:
