Diesel-Campaign

Diesel are championing diversity in their Spring/Summer 2017 campaign.

The iconic fashion brand have teamed up with director David LaChapelle for a brand new campaign which encourages viewers to celebrate and embrace each others differences, rather than give in to fear that divides us.

In a direct challenge to President Trump’s bigotry, and his controversial pledge to build a wall across the Mexican border to reduce immigration, the company have adopted the slogan “Make Love Not Walls”.

The advert for the new campaign features transgender model Laith Ashley, who appeared on Whoopi Goldberg’s reality show Strut, RuPaul’s Drag Race fashionista Raja, ballet dancer Sergei Polunin and more.

There’s also a lovely scene involving two men kissing as they get married surrounded by flowers.

Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti said: “At Diesel, we have a strong position against hate and more than ever we want the world to know that. Love and togetherness is crucial in creating a society we all want to love in, and the future we all deserve.”
