With Pride month around the corner and London Pride on the horizon, designers are popping up with their Pride-inspired collections that give us rainbows and give back to charities in support of the LGBTQ community.

Here’s the first two on our radar from GAP and Original Penguin, plus some of the best new-in bright Pride-worthy picks to grab now.

GAP’s 2019 Pride collection honours the diversity of the LGTBQ community and Jodie Patterson’s chosen family, and includes a partnership with the United Nations Foundation and UN Free & Equal, a campaign of the UN Human Rights Office to promote equal rights and fair treatment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people globally. Gap’s 2019 Pride Month campaign celebrates “love all ways” and what is truly timeless: being true to oneself and one another. As the mother to Penel Ghartey, a transgender boy, Jodie is known for her courageous and poetic book The Bold World: A Memoir of Family and Transformation, which explores identity, gender, race, and authenticity to tell the real-life story of a family’s history and transformation. She has become an activist in the LGTBQ community with a determination to create a more loving world — not only for her son, but for all.

From May 26 to June 6 2019, Gap will donate 15% of sales from the PRIDE collection to the United Nations Foundation in support of UN Free & Equal.

The Original Penguin ‘Pride!’ capsule collection is a classic take on the iconic rainbow flag. Grounded in navy & white but incorporating the colours of the rainbow through novelty stripes, colour-blocking & taping.  Standout pieces are the engineered tipped polos that come in each colour of the rainbow adorned with an embroidered ‘Mega Pete’ Penguin logo, as well as the eye-catching mini Rainbow Print short-sleeve shirt.
