Celebrate Russell’s birthday by admiring his birthday suit.

Russell Tovey turns 35 today! So to celebrate, we thought we’d have a little look back at some times the actor made us (and other people) simply swoon.

01. There was THAT Instagram picture.

You know the one we mean. The one with the great lighting…

02. The Job Lot

The ITV sitcom The Job Lot certainly gave us a LOT.

03. The fainting man

Such is the power of Russell, he managed to make a man faint while performing shirtless on stage.

During the Saturday night performance of A View From The Bridge at the Lyceum Theatre in New York, a male audience member was left swooning – literally – when the hunky Russell took his top off.

According to Page Six, the Broadway performance was abruptly halted until the man could be attended to by emergency medical technicians, who took him to a hospital.

Ok, yeah, we can see that happening.

04. We’re not going to pass on this movie

Starring Russell Tovey and handsome Arinze Kene, new movie The Pass follows the story of a closeted Premier League Footballer, and presents three very different nights over a 10 year period.

And it looks BRILLIANT.

05. Quantico

The show has given us so much. Great plot, gripping suspense and a nice serving of Russell.

05. InstaRocky

And of course, no Russell Tovey related article, or birthday celebration could be complete without mentioning his beloved pooch Rocky.
