Lil Nas X is living the dream as one of the biggest entertainers in the world at the moment.
The 20-year-old rapper has been at the top of the charts for months now with his hit “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus that has prevented not one but two Taylor Swift songs from hitting number one.
He’s been hanging with some of the biggest music legends over the course of his star power rising in recent weeks including Rihanna and Ellie Goulding just to name a few. His EP, 7, has also received rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
Lil Nas has also garnered much attention over his decision to come out as gay. He did this on social media on Sunday, June 30, which also happened to be the last day of Pride month. He’s been met with a ton of support in the days since.
He talked about coming out in an interview with BBC this past week. The “Panini” rapper said he considered taking his sexuality to the grave while also mentioning that he’s “opening doors for people” by his decision.
“I want them (other people) to feel more comfortable pretty much,” he said. “Especially within the country and hip hop communities.”
One other thing to mention is how absurdly handsome the Georgia native is. Fans, especially gay ones, have taken notice even before he came out and have consistently left complimentary (and sometimes thirsty) messages about him on his many Instagram snaps.
