The music mega-goddess on the rise that has been selling out shows for the last couple of years known as Lizzo is a force to be reckoned with! The Detroit native who is known for her thick and juicy body positivity and fancy flute work has given us the year around bops that have kept us pumped up. Her latest album, Cuz I Love You, has been a chart-topping favorite that celebrates individuality and is loaded with affirmations for love, loss, and not giving a F***!

With the popularity of her singles Juice, Cuz I Love You, and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, Tempo, Lizzo is  the latest to hit the NPR Tiny Desk series where she proves, once again, that she is 100% THAT bitch!

Lizzo stuns in a tangerine dress surrounded by her band at what she refers to as a “Tiny Ass Desk”. The singer opens up with a fierce rendition of her song Cuz I Love You which profiles her vocals like you’ve never heard them before. The other two songs in her Tiny Desk concert are Truth Hurts and Juice, where she brings out her partner in crime, Sasha Flute.

During the performance Lizzo shows her cultural sensitivity and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community by referring to pronouns such as “they/them” and by saying that any person, including non-binary folks, “can be ain’t shit too”.

Watch Lizzo take on the “tiny ass desk” during NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert and try not to spill your juice over her badassness.

Lizzo is currently on tour, hitting major cities in the U.S.—I can’t wait to see her at the Hollywood Palladium in October!
