Orlando Love – Remembering Our Angels, will honor the lives of the 49 lives taken the year before at Pulse nightclub

Orlando will be hosting a one-year anniversary tribute concert dedicated to Pulse victims and survivors.

The performance, titled Orlando Love – Remembering Our Angels, will honor the lives of the 49 lives taken the year before at Pulse nightclub.

The Orlando Gay Chorus, Orlando Voices United Choir,The Voice star Sisaundra Lewis, violinist Jose Luis Navarro will all perform.

‘Queen of Merengue’ Olga Tañón will join a group of ballroom dancers to perform Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.

City Mayor Buddy Dyer, County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, Pulse nightclub owner Barbara Poma, and First Baptist Pastor Israel Martin will all speak at the show.

‘What happened at Pulse was the darkest day in our city’s history, and we continue to grieve for the victims and fight for those who are still suffering,’ said Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan.

‘This June 12, our entire LGBTQ community and our allies need to stand together and continue to show that we are a strong, united city that responds with love.’

The Angel Force – a group comprising 49 individuals bearing angel wings – will also have a presence throughout the event.
The event is being produced by volunteers and is supported entirely through donations.
