With the help of beautiful weather Chicago Pride Fest 2019 saw record-breaking crowds Saturday and despite occasional showers on Sunday organizer say the strong attendance continued all weekend long.

“This year Chicago Pride Fest saw record crowds, sponsors and vendors joining us both Saturday and Sunday. Enthusiastic crowds packed the street to celebrate and enjoy the diverse entertainment offerings,” Mark Liberson told GoPride.com. “While we had periods of rain on Sunday, it didn’t dampen the crowd’s enthusiasm, with great crowds at all stages from the start to finish of the day.”

Music stars Betty Who, Leann Rimes, Leland and Alex Newell were among the entertainment lineup that featured a mix of national and local acts, making for 2 full days of non-stop entertainment in Boystown.

Chicago Pride Fest is organized by the Northalsted Business Alliance (NBA), the organization behind Northalsted Market Days, Frost Fest and the annual Halsted Halloween Parade. 

Pride month in Chicago culminates with the 50th annaul Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday, June 30.
