The View co-host Sunny Hostin ripped into a Roman Catholic bishop on Monday after he urged Catholics not to support or attend LGBTQ Pride Month events because “they are especially harmful for children.”
Diocese of Providence Bishop Thomas Tobin sparked a backlash on Saturday when he tweeted, “A reminder that Catholics should not support or attend LGBTQ ‘Pride Month’ events held in June. They promote a culture and encourage activities that are contrary to Catholic faith and morals. They are especially harmful for children.”

Hostin first responded on Twitter before her on-air take down on Monday’s show.
This practicing Catholic will be supporting and attending LGBTQ Pride events. And so will my Catholic children. You should be ashamed @ThomasJTobin1
