(Reuters) – Paul Manafort, U.S. President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman who was convicted last year in federal court, will be arraigned in New York on Thursday to face state charges, according to a court spokesman.

Manafort, 70, is scheduled to appear before Judge Maxwell Wiley on Thursday at 2:15 p.m. EDT (1815 GMT) in New York State Supreme Court to face 16 felony charges brought by the Manhattan district attorney, spokesman Lucian Chalfen told Reuters.
