A new advert of the popular shaving brand Gillette shows the moment a dad teaches his transgender son how to shave for the first time.
The brand, known for their controversial ads, dropped the video a few days ago, and it features Samson Brown and his dad.
They wrote in the caption that your first shave is special, whenever, wherever, and however it happens.

Samson thanked Gillette in the comments for allowing him to share such an important moment in a man’s life with his father, and he added that he looks forward to the great things they’re going to continue to do to encourage all of us to be our best selves.
Gillette responded by thanking him for sharing his story, and they wrote they’re honored to showcase the special moment between Samson and his dad, and are proud to have him as a partner.
They also thanked him for his courage and confidence in sharing his journey to becoming his best self.
