Jonathan Van Ness is partnering with Essie to become the nail polish brand’s first ‘non-female ambassador’.

The groomer of Queer Eye has teamed up with American beauty brand for Pride month.

Van Ness announced the partnership on Instagram on 5 June, sporting a ‘mosaic rainbow mani moment’.

‘I’m so honored to announce I’ve teamed up with @essie as their first non-female ambassador in celebration of Pride! For me, polish has always been a form of self-expression. Right now that means this mosaic rainbow mani moment. Wearing it proud!’ Van Ness wrote.

is one of the latest brands to launch a Pride-themed partnership this June.

Some noticed that the nail polish brand isn’t donating to any LGBTI charity for Pride month, but they are taking parts in Pride events and helping increase representation across the board.

Queer Eye took home four awards on 2 June at the Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards.

The Wrap reported that the Netflix show bagged best ensemble cast in an unscripted series, best lifestyle show (fashion/beauty), male star of the year for Johnathon Van Ness, and best structured series.
