Despite the fact that these US states are the most homophobic in the US, statistics show that they are the first when it comes to using gay porn sites.
PornHub Insights has conducted a research about a who, how many and where are people searching for gay porn. Statistics showed that 40% of their users were Americans so they focused on another study for the US area only.
The study was divided into categories like frequency of visits and category of searching, for each state individually. The results revealed that Mississipi is the fourth state when it comes to number of people that look for gay porn, scoring 3.2%.
According to a map created by those from PronHub Insights, the Southern part of the US has more gay viewers than the rest of the country. And the predominantly type of porn they are looking for is black gay porn.
ironically enough, as viewers in both Mississippi and North Carolina claim racism toward African Americans in their pasts (and present), their most used search phrase is “black gay porn.”
The study also revealed something that’s not much talked about, that is, most users search for “straight guys” as well.
