One of their moms didn’t want the picture on Facebook because she is ‘ashamed’, so now they are going viral for all the right reasons

Just when you think you have seen all sorts of Disneyland proposals, someone comes along and knocks it out of the park.

Like that of Reddit user eugenius310 and his boyfriend Chris, who got engaged in Disneyland Resort in California – with a little help from the action shot camera.

‘I proposed to my beautiful and amazing boyfriend at Disneyland yesterday with the help of my niece and nephews who helped me make the sign a few months ago,’ eugenius310 said.

‘He had no idea I was proposing and I told him that we should make “shocked” faces for the camera.

‘Little did he know I was going to be behind him proposing with a sign!’

After the drop he quickly hid the sign away, so his boyfriend would only get the message when they saw their (hilariously sweet) picture.

‘When we exited the ride we walked to see our photo and he was shocked,’ eugenius310 said.

‘I got down on one knee and asked him to spend the rest of his life with me. He said, “yes”.’

But eugenius310’s mom is ‘ashamed’ of her child and asked him to not post the sweet shot on Facebook – so he shared it on Reddit instead, for all the world to see.

And people are absolutely loving it.

‘Ya boy Chris is fabulous just look at his expression,’ user Velyx said.

‘Probably the same look he gave you when he saw the picture.’

The post is so popular it made Reddit’s front page, and attracted a whole lot of congratulations.

‘Straight bro here from /r/all y’all are a-god-damn-dorable,’ user eminently_weird said.

‘Congratulations and wishing you a lifetime of health and happiness together.

‘P. S. Sorry your mom sucks.’

Others threw in jokes – this is reddit, after all.

‘I’d be ashamed of you too,’ larardrian said.

‘Such sloppy coloring. Congrats btw.’

Others thanked the couple for the picture, like user RossUtse who said the pic ‘brought the biggest smile to my face’.

‘I am very grateful that you openly shared yourself with the world and allowed other folks to find some happiness through you,’ they said.

But the absolute best reply came from a user named EINSTEIN420, who subscribed to sub-reddit gaybros to support his son.

‘As a middle aged straight guy who subscribes to this sub because my son is not quite sure of his sexuality and I want to keep an open mind, I am often blown away by the overwhelming warmth of love I see on this sub,’ he said.

‘I am legitimately sorry your mom can’t feel the happiness that you have here.

‘Shedding a No Homo manly tear for you right now and congrates to you and your partner.’
