Homosexuality runs through all human cultures and has done throughout history – but we gay people have always been in the minority and always will be – that’s biology for you! However, what would the world look like if we weren’t simply in the majority, but if everyone were gay? It’s fun to think about. Obviously, there would be no homophobia – just like there is no ‘humanphobia’! But what else would be different?
For a start, all the romantic comedies would be only man-man or woman-woman… as would all the audiences! In fact, all the romantic storylines in the world would be changed. Prince charming would be saving a swooning cinderfella rather than a cinderella; and on the other side of things, our sleeping beauty would be rescued by a strong and brave princess – maybe the wicked queen would be a very different kind of queen all together!
Would they all the gender stereotypes be turned upside down? Would it be ‘unmanly’ to play rough sports, drink beer, or even do DIY? And would it be ‘unladylike’ to drink fancy cocktails or be too concerned about her appearance? Would all the men be expected to wear great clothes and go for spa days with their friends? Would the women be let off with generally slouching around in sweatpants and a tee? I like to think not; I like to think that in this world we’re imagining, everyone is free to be who they are, with no expectations or baggage – isn’t that the core of the gay pride message, after all?
Walking past a building site, would a cute guy in tight jeans be catcalled by all the burly guys? And would apps like Grindr even exist? Would they need to? Or would they maybe be more popular than ever?!
Having kids sure would be a lot different – no one would be getting pregnant accidentally, that’s for sure! And every kid could potentially have up to four parents – twice the love, but also twice the drama!
Perhaps shows like The Kardashians and Top Gear would be as popular as ever – but maybe the biggest show would be Ru Paul’s Drag Race, followed by Ellen.
But of course the best thing about a world where everyone is gay would be growing up in a world without prejudice, in a world where every child and every adult would know that they are valued and respected for who they are, with no fear.
Maybe everything else above is a fantasy, but we can at least try to make this one last dream come true.
It would be full of rainbows, fashion and bitchiness and that’s how the apocalypse would start…

It would probably be a good thing, …..now that i think about it: No more accidental pregnancies, No more unwanted children, the population would get back under control giving the planet a chance to heal, and there would be a lot less wars.

Not a homophobe but that would be awful. Straight couples are already hoe-like…every homosexual I know has commitment issues. Abusive relationships for men at least would escalate, and STDs would run crazy. But men are shallow enough…then making everyone gay…smh. There needs to be balance.

Jordan Stevens I know and it sad. It’s like have six with any and everything while my Penis is attached. I Men will be men regardless of orientation but dang gay men take it to the extreme. It’s no wonder so many have issues. It’s bad enough men and women treat each other bad but man and man or woman and women. I personally feel bad for homosexuals because you make yourselves look bad.

….first off I assume the human body would not function quite the same as it does now. The ability to reproduce by oneself would have to be a reality which essentially means there would be no “homosexuals” in this world, because there’d be no gender.

I think there would be heterophobia in some communities as occasionally someone might be born straight and the prejudice would disappear overtime but it would take a while for some people to get used to. Plus how does everyone being gay remove racism from history etc?
