With Season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race in the rearview mirror, you would think that many of the queens would be fading from memory, but the exact opposite is happening, They are dropping tons of amazing music, the most recent being New York City doll Honey Davenport, who’s latest offering “Worship Me” dropped this week.
The track features Davenport looking lush in a blue mod style to kick off the video, and the breathy track gets some fantastic exterior shots of Davenport to accompany her vocals. The looks throughout the video are definitely on brand for our favorite Queen Bee, and if you look closely, you may have seen some of these “lewks” on the Drag Race stage.
Davenport showcases one of her biggest strengths, coordinating voluminous hair with vivid colors, giving her best sixties girl group vibe. Merging the chord heavy track with a throbbing base line behind it frames the track into a perfect addition to Davenport’s catalog and eagerly anticipated upcoming full length release.
