Matt Skiba doesn’t understand why being gay would be a bad thing.
It’s hard to believe that people are still using “you’re gay” as an insult in 2017, but Blink 182 member Matt Skiba wasn’t about to let a social media troll get away with it.
The singer noticed an Instagram comment that read “ur gay” recently, and cooked up an amazing response.
“Thanks for taking time out of what must be a very busy schedule for little old me,” Skiba wrote. “Is being gay a bad thing? I don’t understand, but again, thank you.”
“I’m sure you’re a very happy and kind/compassionate person,” he added. “Smart too. Probably immensely satisfied and successful in your life. I’m sure your parents didn’t mean it when they told you that you were an accident.”
If you’re gonna feed the trolls, that’s how it’s done.
