While the nation waits on another whodunnit reveal on the latest series of Broadchurch, many viewers can’t help but have noticed newcomer Chris Mason amongst the cast.
The Liverpool actor has snatched hearts since his debut on the show earlier this year, but you’ll be glad to hear that being a local salesman on the coast of Dorset isn’t his first role.
Aside from appearing alongside Tom Hardy in the Kray Twins biopic Legend, the star also played a gay footballer in a short film for Sky Sports 1, titled Wonderkid, last year.
The powerful film was created to tackle one of the sport’s biggest issues – homophobia.
It’s available to watch for free online here, and it “depicts the inner turmoil of a gay professional footballer as he strives to succeed as his true self in a hyper masculine environment”.
With his star quickly rising, we’re hoping we get to see more of Chris on our screens soon…
