attack

“All of a sudden I felt something hit my face, and then my head hit against the locker.”

A Oklahoma teen says a classmate smashed his face into a locker because he was gay. Cell-phone video captured the gruesome incident, which happened in full view of classmates at Highland West High School.

“All of a sudden I felt something hit my face, and then my head hit against the locker,” says the victim, a seventh-grader named Blake. He sclaims the boy who attacked him on March 8 is a homophobic bully who has used anti-gay slurs against him.

Blake’s father, Chad Presley, called the attack, “one of the most painful things, as a parent, to go through.”

But the mother of the alleged assailant insists it’s her son who’s the real victim.

“This kid called [my son] a rapist, and basically my son just snapped,” Rachael Clymer told KFOR. “It is not okay that he physically snapped, but he didn’t just go the school, and walk up to the kid and hit this child for no reason. He had been verbally attacked for months.”

She says her son is autistic but would never lash out at someone over their sexuality.

“I think that is absolutely ridiculous,” she said. “[He] has grown up with three family members who are gay, and that’s—no, absolutely not.”
