R&B singer Craig David has said that rumours about his sexuality don’t bother him.
In an interview with The Guardian, the artist discussed how throughout his career, there have been persistent rumours that he is gay, such as an article in Noisey which referenced his “confused sexuality”.
Craig stated that he is straight, confirming “I’m heterosexual and it’s cool”, but went on to question why other celebrities get so defensive when asked about their sexuality.
He said: “I sort of find it weird when people get very ‘No! I’m not gay!’ I mean, are you homophobic in some way? I’ve always been relaxed when people are not quite sure [about me].”
After a hiatus from the music industry, the singer has made a huge comeback with new album Following My Intuition, featuring tracks When The Bassline Drops and Ain’t Giving Up which features Sigala.
