Our thoughts are with those who died in the horrific attack and we cannot but stand in owe at the horrible things that people often do to each other. To those who are still not informed on the subject, the Paris attacks that took place yesterday claimed more than 130 lives and wounded several hundred others. There were 8 Islamic Mujahideen that started 7 simultaneous attacks killing innocents either by shooting straight at the crowds or detonating suicide bombs.
This is what hatred and irrational and violent thoughts do to a society. People promote violence as a means through a peaceful world, but what peace can we hope to find in the heart of a broken and homophobic ideology that says gays should be slaughtered and that places women in the same qualitative stance as cattle? This is the moment that people should unite and understand that not only extremism, but religion is bad, because it is religion that endorses these kinds of behaviors. Those terrorists used the Quran’s teachings to take the lives of their fellow human beings. It is not just an attack against French people, but against human kind.
Francois Hollande addressed the French people and the world, condemning the abominable event.
Our hearts are with those who died and with their families and we hope to never witness such horrors. We have the power to build a better world for ourselves and violence is not the way to do it.
We shall forever remember those who are no longer amongst us. Let them rest in peace.
it’s awful…how can such things happen in 21st century? awful
