Last week, we told you about 31-year-old Dewey Lainhart and his 22-year-old fiancé Cody Moore, two men interviewed by Wall Street Journal’s Jason Bellini during a Trump rally in Cincinnati.

When asked if they felt comfortable being affectionate with one another in a roomful of racists, sexists and homophobes, one of men replied, “Ain’t nobody said nothing ’bout it.”

Then he added, “I gotta lotta gay friends that support Trump.”

“Same here,” the other nodded.

Well, since the video went viral — receiving over 196k views, 707 shares, and 900 comments — plenty of people have said plenty about it. In fact, the couple is receiving death threats.

Asked why exactly they want Donald Trump to be the next president, one looked at the other and laughed, “Hmmmm, I don’t know baby… Why?”

His boyfriend quickly replied: “Tired’a the bullshit government! I work in the steel industry I see it hardcore at the trades and stuff. Time for a change. Trump’s the man for it.”

“Plus,” the other man added, “I really feel like he would bring more jobs to the country. Everything would be a hell of a lot better.”

The Facebook comments were unsurprisingly negative, calling the men “idiots,” “uneducated,” “redneck” “self-hating gays.”

One comment compared them to “Jews who supported Hitler,” while another simply suggested “two bricks directly into their faces.”

According to Bellini, they don’t regret doing the interview, but claim it’s “put a damper” on their excitement over their recent engagement.

Plus, they’re being told repeatedly not to leave their house or go to any gay clubs if they respect their lives.

“It doesn’t concern me,” Lainhart tells Bellini. “I look over my back, and I do carry [a gun]… because I love the second amendment.”
