We get multiple emails daily about products wanting to be advertised on out pages. They have recently been wrapped and splashed with rainbows and glitter for the Summer months and for PRIDE. Some of them are clearly just doing this for profit, pink washing themselves for the possible gay money, while others are highlighting a company’s supportive LGBTQ+ policies. We are sure we have not seen the last email or social media campaign, but we feel now that we’ve seen the worst!
Donald Trump has now unveiled his own Pride merchandise.

The shirt, features the words “LGBTQ for Trump” which you can clearly see is done half-assed like his presidency. If the shirt has wrinkles, why don’t the letters? The rainbow background is probably a Shuttershock design that they didn’t even pay for. Sorry to be negative, but seriously!?! Is this the brainchild of LGBTQ+ non-thinkers that wrote upside down on the rainbow flag “LGBTs for TRUMP”? Maybe they knew hanging a flag upside down is a sign of distress and were just foreshadowing how orange would become the prominent color in ‘Merikan’t politics. Instead of pink washing, would this be orange washing?
These are times of danger to life or property and sanity. Let’s look at just a couple of things Trump has done and not done since taking office:
- Any mention of LGBT rights were removed from the White House website just after #45 was sworn in.
- Nearly one-third of Trump’s judicial nominees have anti-LGBTQ records, according to Lambda Legal.
- Trump bans Transgender citizens from serving in the military.
- Trump’s Justice Department also rescinded another Obama-era memo that said trans workers are protected under civil rights law.
- No mention of World AIDS Day
- Proposed budget cuts to global HIV programs
- Trump failed to recognize LGBTQ Pride Month.

Can we just say WTF!
But just like everything else Trump is good at, racism, bigotry, lies, bankruptcy, mistresses, this is no new idea.
What will he think of next? Screwing up the economy and then asking for a bailout to help people he hurt because of his policies? Oh, nevermind.
If you are LGBTQ+ and you are a supporter of Trump, please, buy this shirt so we know who to avoid, so we know who is out for themselves and not caring for our community.
