Ellen Degeneres gave two fathers an incredible surprise during a segment on her show, when they came on to discuss their new family. Having wanted to start a family for years, they took the plunge and found a surrogate.
But the blessings came like buses, and after finally getting the family they’ve longed for, they discovered they were having triplets.
The dads, Justin and Adam, were invited on the show after one of their friends got in touch with Ellen, who recently made a Pulse Nightclub survivor’s dreams come true by introducing him to idol Katy Perry.
“They are wonderful fathers who are struggling with the unexpected finances, but are ecstatic about their new family,” family friend Autumn Clack wrote.
After taking the time to chat about triplets Harper, Collins, and Emmett, who were born in June, Ellen revealed a few surprises to help the new family with their finances. As well as a personalised stroller which reads ‘Our Daddies Were On Ellen’, they were gifted $10,000 and a supply of nappies that won’t end until all three no longer need to wear them.
