Mighty Hoopla returned to London for its third year and it was gayer than ever.

The pop festival took over Brockwell Park on Saturday 8 June for another day-long spectacular, featuring performances from iconic pop stars and drag queens alike.

All Saints, Jamelia, Bananarama, and Chaka Khan played across six different stages. However, the festival is run by the people behind Sink the Pink, and they delivered the top-tier drag acts the brand has become known for.

The Cocoa Butter Club celebrated the best in Britain’s black drag scene. Meanwhile, acts like the Glory brought local London talent.

Yet it’s not just about the acts. Of course, it’s the people that make any festival worthwhile. The crowd was on point all day. A sea of colors spread across thousands of people. Everyone friendly, everyone willing to have a good time, from Bongo’s Bingo to Liberty X.

And if you need any more proof of that, you just have to look at the photos.
