English synthpop duo, Hurts, makes a poignant political statement with their new music video and single, “Beautiful Ones,” which depicts a horrific anti-LGBT assault, in reverse.
At the beginning of the video, we encounter frontman Theo Hutchcraft, the apparent victim of a violent assault.
As the video draws us back through to the beginning of the incident, we come to find that he was beaten by a group of three men, as onlookers watched.
