#womensmarch LA 750,000 people! ✊????? Amazing to see a seemingly endless sea of people marching down MULTIPLE streets, locking up the entire downtown LA grid – to resist HATE and stand up for Women and the marginalized and oppressed in this country. My hope is that we organize this way over the next four years and beyond to defeat or champion specific legislation and instances of injustice or Justice! Especially over the next few years. Imagine if we do this to oppose defunding healthcare or PP, or protecting our immigrants, standing up for refugees, or legislation for equality education, or to stand against Stop and Frisk, to end fracking, or to overturn Utah v Streiff, stand against discriminatory LGBT laws, or to force Congress to vote on Obama's Supreme Court nominee when it was appropriate! This needs to be a way of life. Thank you to Paola Mendoza, @lsarsour and the organizers behind the #womensmarch! This is how we need to organize to bring about positive change in this country and FOLLOW up with calls, emails and meetings with our elected officials demanding justice for specific cases. This is just the beginning! Yes we can. ✊?✊?✊?✊? #blacklivesmatter #illwalkwithyou #NoDAPL #waterislife #loveWins #stopsessions #BeChange PS yes her sign says "If My Pussy Shot Bullets, it would not be regulated."
