One of the pleasures of the job here at The Advocate is working with photographers and artists over a number of years. Some of these relationships deepen as we watch life-changing events flow by in the rivers and tributaries of each other’s social media. Charlie is one of those people who we have returned to work with over and over, because not only is the work compelling, but he is also an interesting and compassionate guy.

One of the pleasures of Charlie’s work for me is that we share certain tastes: Fur, muscle, jockey shorts, and ripe maturity. In honor of that, we have combined several of his portfolios that have been on our site with some of the original text that appeared. If you have never seen his work, we are happy to introduce you.
