Exploring the lives of three gay men living in San Francisco, Looking is a movie that comes after the TV series ended with season 2.
To end the two seasons, HBO announced that they would launch Looking: The Movie as a finale episode.
“Starring Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, Looking: The Movie wraps up the story of three close friends living in San Francisco who explore the options available to a new generation of gay men seeking fulfillment in love and life. In the film, Patrick (Groff) returns to the city for the first time in almost a year to celebrate a momentous event with his old friends. In the process, he must face the unresolved relationships he left behind and make difficult choices about what’s important to him,” HBO explained.
The movie will air on HBO July 23 from 10-11:30 PM and fans of the series are invited to an exiting finale.The movie will run for 90 minutes and it’s written by Andrew Haigh and Michael Lannan, with Haigh also directing.
Don’t miss it, because even if the series was not successful, it wasn’t because of poor creativity, but it just didn’t find the right audience.
