Ofcom rejects complaints over same-sex kiss on Coronation Street
TV watchdog Ofcom have rejected over 60 complaints made about a same-sex kiss on Coronation Street.
The on-screen kiss between vicar Billy Mayhew and Todd Grimshaw – played by Daniel Brocklebank and Bruno Langley, respectively – happened after Billy was dumped by boyfriend Sean last month.
Ofcom have since reported that 67 people wrote in to complain about the pair locking lips after the episode aired on 8 July.
