Rubén Díaz Sr., the 76-year-old homophobic Pentecostal minister turned New York politician, has been caught lying about a charity he used to run.
On his website, Díaz writes that he was “until recently, Executive Director of Christian Community Benevolent Association, Inc (CBBA) … a non-profit CBO geared toward helping the elderly and the needy … presently employs 1,000 people and serves more than 5,000 senior citizens residing in Bronx County.”

New York City Councilman Ritchie Torres made history today when he announced his bid for a seat in New York’s House of Representatives.
