George Michael’s ex-lovers are not happy.
It’s already been two and a half years since the unfortunate passing of pop star George Michael. But we’re only now hearing about what was in the artist’s last will. Or rather, whose names weren’t in it.
According to the Sun, George Michael left £97.6 million to his will. Most of it will go to his sisters, including his two London Homes. Michaels’ dad then received a horseracing stud farm where he has lived for several years. The Mill Charitable Trust, which was set up by Michael in 2009, will receive several works of art and antiques such as a piano once belonging to John Lennon.
The reason this information is coming out now is because of court paperwork issued on May 30. Now, Michael’s estate can be split up to said sisters, father, and friends like backup singer Shirlie Kemp, record producer David Austin, family friend Sonia Bird, publicist Connie Filippello, cousin Alex Georgiou, model Kay Beckenham, and former PA Michelle May.
Meanwhile, former lovers Kenny Goss and Fadi Fawaz were left without a single cent.

American businessman Kenny Goss started a romantic relationship with George Michael in 1996. They later broke up in 2011. They, however, became close again during Michael’s last years on Earth. Goss was even invited to Michael’s funeral in 2017.
Then in 2012, Michael began dating hairdresser Fadi Fawaz. It was Fawaz who discovered George’s deceased body in bed at his Oxfordshire home on December 25, 2016. Fawaz claimed that the death was a suicide.
Neither man was mentioned in George Michael’s will. Goss also alleged back in 2017 that Fawaz missed Michael’s wake and showed up late to the funeral. In addition, he claims that Michael’s sister Melanie did not mention Fawaz in her speeches and that Fawaz was ignored by the singer’s father.
That said, Fawaz is still living at Michael’s Regent’s Park home in London, despite being asked to leave the property several times.
