Sex, porn, power, fame, greed, and ambition all collide in James Franco’s gay murder movie, King Cobra, the trailer for which has just been released.
As we’ve been reporting, the film follows the rise of gay adult film star Brent Corrigan (nee Sean Paul Lockhart) and his relationship with the man who discovered him, producer Bryan Kocis (Christian Slater). After rising to stardom, Corrigan has a falling out with Kocis when he realizes that he’s legally bound to work only for him–and he’s been ripped off.
When Corrigan meets a pair of rival adult film producers played by James Franco and Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars), things take a murderous turn.
King Cobra, directed by Justin Kelly (I Am Michael) premiered at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival and also played at this year’s Outfest.
The film features supporting performances from Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald.
