Olympic skier pleases fans with another naked selfie on the slopes – and an appeal for donations for his AIDS Life Cycle ride
Gus Kenworthy knows how to keep his fans happy. The Olympic-medal winning skier celebrated his 27th birthday yesterday. To commemorate, the gay athlete posted a naked selfie last night.
The image looks like another outtake from his ESPN naked photo shoot last year. It’s not the first time that he has posted photos from the shoot on his Instagram.
The accompanying caption reads: ‘27-years-ago I came out of my mum wearing this exact same outfit. Strong queens make strong queens. Happy (my) birthday, Ma!’
AIDS Life Cycle
This was preceded a few hours earlier by another birthday posting. In this one, Kenworthy wore a T-shirt promoting Instagram profile The AIDS Memorial. He also asked for donations for his AIDS Life Cycle fundraiser. He’s hoping to raise $1,000,000 for the HIV charity.
‘It’s my 27th birthday!!! Do you wanna help make it my best birthday ever?’ he said in the accompanying caption. ‘Then click the link in my bio and consider donating a few bucks to my @aidslifecycle campaign.
‘I’m going to be biking 545 miles from SFO to LA in June to help fight HIV/ AIDS. I’ve pledged to raise $1,000,000 for the cause and I won’t be able to get there without your help!

Among those wishing Kenworthy a happy birthday was fellow US Olympic athlete Adam Rippon.
The two have become firm friends since competing as part of Team USA at this year’s Winter Olympics.
The skater posted a photo of his and Kenworthy on an Instagram story. The caption read: ‘Happy birthday to a love of mine @guskenworthy. Becoming friends has been one of the greatest gifts of my 2018. I love you and can’t wait for all our future adventures.
‘Thank you for blessing my life. Here’s to an amazing year ahead.’
