The Disney Channel made network history recently by featuring its first-ever teen same-sex couple on the final episode of its popular pre-teen drama series Andi Mack.
Fans of the show may remember that in October 2017 Cyrus Goodman, a friend of the show’s titular heroine, revealed he had a crush on a boy. It is not the first time when Disney plays with gay stories and same-sex relationships, especially in animated shows like “Star vs The Forces of Evil” and “Doc McStuffins” to name a few.
