I just roll over and kiss him.

“Get ready love, I’m coming to get you in an hour,” he says and hangs up the phone. I stare at the phone’s screen in my hand for a few seconds. Great, a date night he decided to surprise me with. He could have said something more about it, though. I text him asking him what should I wear and the answer is “Surprise me.”
“Oh boy, you’re on!” I say to myself and my roommates ask what the big deal is. I tell them I’ll be going out on a date. Even if they’ve already realized I am gay, they have not said or asked anything which I am grateful for.

I choose black pants, dark-yellow shirt which sleeves I roll up and combine it with a black necktie. I do my hair and freshen up my face a bit. I look in the mirror. Well, I am a modest boy (kind of), but I look hot, can’t deny that. I look at the clock. It’s already 9.30PM and I wonder why has he decided to go to dinner so late.
Just a minute later, my phone rings signaling me that he has arrived. I take my phone and wallet and go out.
He is standing outside out of his car, smoking a cigarette. No let me get this straight – I do not like smoking. I have never been with anyone that smokes and it has always looked unclassy to me. But the way he holds the cigarette, breathes in and then puffs the smoke out got me staring at him every time and he does not even realize it.

He is wearing his grey coat but it is unbuttoned and underneath I see a green shirt and black pants. I bite my lower lip.
“Wow. You look beautiful,” he says smiling when I close up. “Come here,” he pulls something behind his back. “These are for you.” It is my favorite chocolates. I kiss him and thank him.
We drive to a fancy restaurant downtown and sit on a table for two. When we get handed the menu, he tells me to read what the place is called.
“Before 10’clock,” I read out loud and laugh. “So that’s with all the late dinner thing.”
We dine and talk enjoying each other’s company. He sits next to me waiting for me to finish my meal and rubs my thigh with his hand.

“A little too obvious, aren’t you,” I whisper to him catching that people are staring at us. He leans in and smiles against my neck,
“I am barely controlling myself.” I almost choke on my sip of wine and look at him. “I can’t help it. You are just so… fascinating and I can’t believe you are actually mine.” He cups my cheek gently and kisses me lovingly.
Back at his apartment, we lay on the bed in the dark two hours later and try to even our breathing.
“So, how did you like our night out?” he asks with his husky and deep voice next to me.
I just roll over and kiss him.
