Gay US congressman introduces LGBT PRIDE Act to combat violence and suicide
US Representative Sean Patrick Maloney introduced the LGBT PRIDE Act today – a year after the deadly shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.
The bill is seeks to improve data collection on the sexual orientation and gender identity of victims of violent crimes.
Many of the 49 victims at Pulse were gay.

18-year-old Gage Vye-Parminter and 19-year-old Matthew Howes were sentenced to five years and four months in a young offender institution today at Brighton Crown Court.
