Kentucky county clerk who refused to sign same-sex marriage licenses campaigns against gay marriage ahead of Constitutional vote
Kim Davis has taken her anti-gay crusade abroad.
Davis is the Kentucky county clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples following the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling allowing marriage equality nationwide.
Davis said she was acting on God’s authority and did five days of jail time for her refusal to sign the marriage licenses.
