Virginia Representative Denver Riggleman is dealing with pushback from his political peers after he supported a gay wedding.

Republicans want to reprimand their colleague for not being homophobic enough
Rep. Denver Riggleman of Virginia appears to be at war with his own party after his Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives decided he’s not homophobic enough for them.
It all started when Riggleman agreed to officiate a gay wedding over the weekend.
According to the Washington Post, the couple volunteered from his campaign a while back and eventually became friends with him. So they asked Riggleman to preside over their wedding on Sunday.

A hardware store in Virginia is facing criticism after an employee there allegedly shouted homophobic remarks at a Boy Scout and his father.

Virginia Mayor Resigns Following Meth-For-Sex Bust, Turns To God
As we reported last week, Fairfax City Mayor Richard “Scott” Silverthorne was recently arrested for offering meth to cops in exchange for sexual favors. In an emotional tailspin ever since getting a cancer diagnosis last year, Silverstone filed for bankruptcy after losing his recruiting job for the National Association of Manufacturers.
Following the arrest, he was also let go from his job as a substitute teacher.
