A new study suggests that female employers may prefer to hire gay candidates over straight ones.
The research, from the University of Sussex’s School of Business, Management and Economics, asked 400 employers to review a randomly chosen fictional CV from a gay man, a lesbian, a straight man, or a straight woman.
All four CVs were exactly the same, except for the fact that half listed membership with Los Angeles Gay Business Professionals.

A new study has found that many men still choose to hide their sexuality from their colleagues.
New research by the University of Cincinnati has found that gay men often hide their sexuality at work – especially in corporate roles.
The findings show that gay and bisexual men feel they have to “manage” their sexuality and gender identity in the workplace.
This may include exhibiting certain behaviours, body language and gestures to avoid “potential negative consequences from co-workers.”

A Muslim rentboy, working under the pseudonym “Mohammed Ashfaq,” has written a provocative piece for The Spectator in which he dishes about sleeping with politicians and the unhurried ins-and-outs of his profession.
