Actor Meyne Wyatt Alleges Rampant Racism & Homophobia On ‘Neighbours’ Set
Aboriginal actor Meyne Wyatt on Tuesday called out the “rampant” racism and homophobia on the sets of iconic Australian show Neighbours. Wyatt added his voice to the allegations made by other Indigenous actors of racism on the sets of one of Australia’s longest running soaps.Wyatt had played the character of Nate Kinski, an Indigenous, openly gay former soldier living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on Neighbours between 2014 and 2016. “I was a series regular on Neighbours between 2014 to 2016 and I experienced Racism on set.
