Anti-Gay Banner Found Hanging in Northern Ireland
I'm saddened but not surprised. This hateful banner was found hanging over an overpass on an expressway in Northern Ireland, according to Attitude. How annoying that people are still like this.
Both the Irish and LGBTQ people have historically been subjected to unfair persecution. Seriously, go read "A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift and... pretty much anything I've written on here. It's mostly negative. The banner was discovered on October 19th by Amanda Ferguson. She posted a picture of the...
Virgin Airlines Launches Pride Flight to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots
Very few people enjoy flying in an airplane. It's tedious, boring, and stuffy. Basically, flying is a drag. But what would you say if a flight could be a drag show? Virgin Atlantic will accomplish just that on June 28th, 2019 on their Pride Flight, according to The Guardian to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
The flight will be hosted by Tituss Burgess, who plays as the campy Titus Andromedon (also known as Ronald Wilkerson, Flouncy Magoo,...

Discrimination Against a Gay Man Occurred and it was Completely Legal
I don't know what it is about businesses refusing service to LGBTQ people but I do know that I'm tired of it. First the Masterpiece Cakeshop debacle and now this. Colton Southworth and his husband were denied service specifically because they're a gay couple.
Southworth and his husband had recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia and had dreams to transform their lawn into a beautiful garden. Colton researched different lawn services and found Botanica Atlanta Landscape and Design.
Southworth was enamored by...
Doctor Who Producer Says Show Will Continue With LGBTQ Characters From Across The Spectrum
The new season of Doctor Who is just around the corner, and it looks like it’ll have lots of LGBTQ+ representation in it.
It seems the name of the game for Doctor Who lately is representation. Not only did the prior season have a lesbian companion in Bill Potts, but now the regenerating Time Lord will be played by a female actor for the first time, Jodie Whittaker.
Now, just weeks before the season’s premiere on October 7, executive producer Matt...
Clarks Summit University Denies Gay Student Chance To Finish His Studies
Pennsylvania's Clarks Summit University, a Christian school, has denied a student from finishing the last six hours of his bachelors’s degree because he is gay.
To be clear, the university kicked him to the curb not for having a boyfriend or engaging in a gay “sexual relationship” as the school’s student handbook prohibits.
No, after accepting Gary Campbell’s money to take two classes, the school contacted him after learning he is gay and informed him he’s not welcome as a student...

Netflix’s LGBTQ Film section is mostly gay men and people aren’t happy
Is there something wrong with the LGBTI film industry?
A viral Twitter thread has dragged Netflix because of the lack of diversity in their LGBTQ Film section.
Despite the whole acronym being included in the classification, there are a disproportionate amount of films focusing on gay men.
The conversation sparked when Twitter user @dspxna wrote: ‘Someone let netflix know that 678 gay men films and 2 lesbian films doesn’t make a lgbtq section ’.
