Happy Birthday, Harry Styles!
Harry Styles turns 23 today, so we thought we’d look back at some of the best shots from his Instagram and beyond.
As well as being one quarter of the world’s biggest boy band One Direction, as well as a future Hollywood star, Harry is a proud supporter of LGBT+ rights – if he’s not dancing around on stage with a pride flag, he’s celebrating equal marriage.
Oh, and there’s that time he dragged himself up…

Crowds gather for the Women’s Mach in downtown Los Angeles.
California is losing its chill — another major protest against Trump is on its way. The demonstration is being planned to coincide with Los Angeles Pride and the National Pride March in Washington D.C., so mark your calendar for June 11 and prepare to get loud. (But by all means stay loud until then, also.)
At the rate things are going, Donald Trump’s presidency will go down as the dawn of...
Lebanon is getting closer to decriminalising homosexuality
A judge in Lebanon has conceded that homosexuality should not be illegal in a landmark case that may change the future of LGBT people living in the country.
Judge Rabih Maalouf declared that “homosexuality is a personal choice, and not a punishable offence” in the ruling which referenced Article 183.
The article states that “An act undertaken in exercise of a right without abuse shall not be regarded as an offence.”
The ruling contradicts that homosexuality is illegal under Article 534 which...

Church of England rejects lifting opposition to same-sex marriage
The House of Bishops uphold their view that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
In a new report released today, they added that there was still “little support for changing the Church of England’s teaching on marriage.”
It’s a view that will continue to frustrate gay rights campaigners and risks the Church being further alienated from modern society’s views and attitudes.
The Church of England came to this conclusion after two years of discussions.
However, despite refusing to lift their...

Tim Kaine officiated a same-sex wedding during Trump’s inauguration
Hillary Clinton’s former running mate Tim Kaine provided some positivity on Inauguration Day.
Just hours after Donald Trump officially became President of the United States, Virginia Senator and Democratic vice presidential candidate Kaine turned to an altogether happier occasion as he helped wed a same-sex couple.
Dea Jones and Sharon McLeod, aged 64 and 61 respectively, met back in 2000 and took part in a commitment ceremony in 2002, more than a decade before same-sex marriage became the law of the...

The White House LGBT page disappeared within minutes of Trump's swearing in.
