Simon-Cowell

Simon Cowell has been recently accused of homophobia after crude gay joke on X Factor. Now Simon Cowell made yet another crude gay joke on X Factor yesterday, this time at the expense of co-judge Louis Walsh. Contestant Matt Terry didn’t receive the outstanding review from Louis he has hoped for after his choice of song, Wham’s I’m Your Man, didn’t go down well with Walsh. Simon took the opportunity to make fun of Louis when he said “this is the first...

Bisexuality isn't just about sex, but it's safe to say that people are genuinely curious about the dynamics of sexuality and how that specifically translates to bisexuality and sex. YouTuber Arielle Scarcella poses the question of how bisexual men date men versus women. See what some bi guys have to say: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XH-8-D5PCM
kingcobra

Oh, the challenges of playing a notorious adult film star: they are legion. In the latest issue of PrideSource, 25-year-old actor Garrett Clayton unpacks his feelings about playing Brent Corrigan in Justin Kelly’s long-awaited King Cobra (in theaters and On Demand starting October 21). After discussing his contractually mandated butt shot, his favorite Brent Corrigan scene, and how one prepares for such a role, he surprisingly refuses to divulge his own sexuality to the interviewer, believing that “it just distracts” from his work. Here are some highlights: On preparing...
work

A new study has found that many men still choose to hide their sexuality from their colleagues. New research by the University of Cincinnati has found that gay men often hide their sexuality at work – especially in corporate roles. The findings show that gay and bisexual men feel they have to “manage” their sexuality and gender identity in the workplace. This may include exhibiting certain behaviours, body language and gestures to avoid “potential negative consequences from co-workers.” Travis Dean Speice – who...

The latest issue of FS Magazine has revealed that, while the majority of gay and bi men do come out, almost half are faced with homophobia when they do. The Coming Out Issue, which was released to coincide with National Coming Out Day, surveyed 500 gay and bi men on the topic of coming out, and fond that, of the respondents that had come out, 94% had told their family and 98% had told their friends – but just 75% had...
Craig-David

R&B singer Craig David has said that rumours about his sexuality don’t bother him. In an interview with The Guardian, the artist discussed how throughout his career, there have been persistent rumours that he is gay, such as an article in Noisey which referenced his “confused sexuality”. Craig stated that he is straight, confirming “I’m heterosexual and it’s cool”, but went on to question why other celebrities get so defensive when asked about their sexuality. He said: “I sort of find it...
nick jonas

Whatever your take on Nick Jonas, there’s no denying he’s everywhere. In fact, he’s overexposed. On the heels of his film (Goat, opening today) and upcoming album (Last Year Was Complicated), he was most recently emblazoned on the cover of the newest issue of Wonderland magazine to promote his raft of products. In the accompanying interview, he manages to discuss his sexuality and his sometimes rocky relationship with the gay community. “Sexuality is important as an artist,” he declares. “To embrace it, and...
bi day

It’s Bi Visibility Day! And many people have asked me, what is that? Well, it’s the day bisexual people get to celebrate how awesome they are, and draw attention to the issues they face. Issues like biphobes (or as I call them, penis whisperers) who think they know more about my sexual preferences than I do. People who think that at 25 years-old I’m so unobservant that I don’t know what turns me on. I am an ordinary guy who happens to be bisexual....
Ben Whishaw

Skyfall actor Ben Whishaw has always been discreet about his private life. Allegations about his sexuality began in 2011 when he played a gay character on Broadway. In an interview about the play, Whishaw came out in a subtle way, as if he wanted to say it, just not that clearly. Asked about his homosexual character in the play and the impact on young people, Ben answered: "I feel in my heart that it’s important, but I don’t quite know yet the...
gay sauna

When I first read that London’s biggest gay sauna, Chariots, would be demolished to make way for a luxury hotel, I was really disappointed. Yet another historical gay safe haven would be lost to the gentrification sweeping major urban areas like London, Manhattan and the closer Brooklyn locales, Amsterdam, and beyond. As Dazed put so eloquently ‘assimilation is definitely not liberation’. The stigma in the young gay community surrounding the ‘seedy nature’ of gay saunas, bathhouses, and spas is plagued with...
gay roommate

A few months ago I had to move again for a millionth time in a new campus because I'm a student. A friend of mine and I arrived at the campus found my room and started to move my bags from the car to the room. It was locked so I knocked. - "Who is it?"  it came from inside ,and I said "It's your new roommate open up" .The boy wasn't very happy about the fact that he'll have...
Drunk

At the earliest moments of the morning, at 5 o’clock my phone was totally raped by ringing. I just had to answer; it seemed to be an important call. So I did. I answered…Guess what! It was my dead drunk boyfriend, who was coming to see me. Actually, he was thinking that he was coming to see me. At that moment, he was unable even to find his house… I had to find him. In the previous evening, he had...
play time

You know those canisters of squirty cream? I can never look at one without smiling. Let me explain… It was my first year of college. I’d left home - the freedom was amazing, like fresh air after being locked in a stuffy room. My family was very conservative and I’d never really had many friends at school; that was made worse when I begin to realize that I had feelings for other guys. I kept it all to myself, but eventually...
I married my boyfriend

Yes, my lover and I got married in the New Year’s Eve, away from our families and friends, because we both come from a Catholic background and everybody in our social circle is deeply religious and homophobic. I am Adam and my lover is Ralph. We have been together for the last 5 years and no one ever suspected anything so far. Contrary to what you may think, my parents actually talked about sexuality with me when I was younger....
