I’ve never met my online boyfriend, but he’s about to propose. Am I crazy to consider?
Hi Jake,I met a guy through Facebook, and we’ve been texting each other for almost half a year… but haven’t met in person. I swear, this is the real deal! We send romantic texts and emails throughout the day, chat for hours into the night, and regularly Facetime. There is an undeniable chemistry between us and I don’t think I’ve ever been treated with such adoration. Subscribe to our newsletter for a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.He’s in the army, and says he’s coming home soon, so we’re we’re finally planning on meeting in about a month. I was super excited, until recently when he said–spoiler alert–he’s going to propose! I wasn’t sure how serious he was, but then he asked for my ring size, and keeps sending a text emoji of two rings together.

Target Hit With Backlash for Decision on LGBTQ+ Merchandise
Target faced criticism and calls for boycotts from conservatives last year over its related merchandise during Pride celebrations and into the holiday season.According to a statement, the brick-and-mortar Target stores that will be selected to carry LGBTQ+ merchandise—including adult apparel, home goods, foods and beverages—will be decided "based on historical sales performance." It also plans to spotlight LGBTQ-owned brands during Pride Month both in stores and online. The announcement has sparked renewed backlash for the retailer, with many people accusing Target of giving in to pressure from the conservative-led boycotts. As Newsweek previously reported, Target's share price took momentary dips in May and June 2023 after the calls for boycotts began, but ended the year with a 7.46 percent increase on its share price."Cool.
