Gregory Wayne Abbott (born November 13, 1957) is an American attorney who has served as the 48th governor of Texas since January 20, 2015. A member of the Republican Party, Abbott previously served as the 50th attorney general of Texas from 2002 to 2015. He is the third governor of any U.S. state to permanently use a wheelchair. He is also the first disabled governor in Texas history.

She will sing “America The Beautiful”.In an official statement, Underwood said, “I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event.“I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”While MAGA diehards have hailed Underwood a patriot for taking part in the inauguration, others have criticized the former American Idol contestant.
