BLUE’s Lee Ryan has denied being homophobic or transphobic - telling The Sun “I’m bisexual and my bandmate is gay - I would never disrespect anyone like that.” The singer was left shocked and upset after a row with Sammy Sheperd - who performs as drag queen Layla Zee Susan - where he told followers the Blue star was “unhinged”. “I’m really upset and angry because I would never disrespect any community - I know what it’s like to be disrespected for no reason and it hurts,” Lee tells The Sun. The row kicked off after Lee posted on Instagram that he “might start identifying myself as an alien / star / seed / indigo child.
