Political Notes: LGBTQ California candidates secure LGBTQ groups' support
A number of LGBTQ candidates seeking congressional and state legislative seats in California have picked up the backing of two high-profile LGBTQ advocacy organizations. In most of the races the endorsements overlap, though one of the groups is so far sitting out the special election for an Assembly seat in San Francisco.
