Troye Sivan has set the record straight regarding a Grindr-based blind item. On 14 September, the Aussie superstar and pop icon Charli XCX kicked off their joint North American tour, Sweat, in Detroit, Michigan.
Like their summer performances, the setlist consists of tracks from their extensive catalogue – including their critically acclaimed albums, Something To Give Each Other and BRAT.
While the tour has already received rave reviews from fans and critics, it has also been subjected to outlandish rumours, like Sivan’s motivations for the batch of shows.
On 14 September, the 28-year-old talent took to his TikTok account to shut down an online blind item – which was covered by TikTok account Celebritea Blinds – that targeted Sweat’s ticket sales and his alleged excitement to “hit Grindr” at every tour stop. “Straight people are getting way too comfortable.
