EastEnders is set for another explosive Christmas and New Year, thanks to the deceitful antics of Cindy Beale. Last year, Michelle Collins sensationally reprised her role as Cindy more than 25 years since her last appearance on the BBC soap.
Cindy first arrived in Albert Square back in 1988, before departing 10 years later after she tried to kill her husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) after hiring a hit man to shoot him.
She is also the mum to Steven, who died in 2017, and twins Peter (Thomas Law) and Lucy Beale, with the latter being murdered by Bobby Beale in 2014.
EastEnders fans were led to believe that Cindy was dead after Ian was given the news that she had died in childbirth. However, following her return, Cindy confessed she had been living in witness protection and had another family with ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon), and they share two daughters Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford).
